Smart Gilas 2.0 will face Iran at the 2012 FIBA ASIA Cup

It was a tough game for Smart Gilas 2.0, but they played their heart out against Chinese Taipei

Coach Chot Reyes find it an ugly win for Gilas. He tweeted his disappointment  "Not pretty at all. Our rust showed. But at least we found a way,”. The team posted a 14 point lead in the third quarter but scoreless for next 4 minutes of the fourth quarter.

The stats shows why Coach Chot felt they should have won it better. The team shot 7 of 24 in the three point area and committed 21 turn overs. Tenorio, Douthit and David found a way to pull it off and gave Gilas their third win in the tournament.

But happened today is history, Coach Chot said they just have to play a lot better to win against Iran tomorrow. Iran is rank number one in the tournament and a powerhouse team right now.
