FIBA ASIA 2012: Smart Gilas 2.0 grab their 1st win

After a sorry lost against China, Smart Gilas 2.0 scored their first win at the 2012 FIBA ASIA, in the expense of Lebanon.

Reliable center, Marcus Douthit perform better against Lebanon's main man Fadi El-Khatib. Douthit's 25 points, 21 rebounds established a win record for them.

But still it was a team effort for them, Gary David, Gabe Norwood, Ranidel Ocampo and Jared Dillinger contributed important points and played excellent defense against Lebanon.

On other games, Japan and Qatar also won their games yesterday. The Qatar team lost their first game but went back for a win against India. On the other hand, Japan now has 2 wins, after winning their first game and won against Chinese Taipei yesterday. 

Today, the Philippines National team will face Uzbekistan.
