Yi Siling of China got the first gold today for Women's 10m Air Rifle Shooting Day 1 of the 2012 London Olympics.
Sylwia Bogacka from Poland came second for a silver medal and again from China Yu Dan came third for a bronze.
Also it is the first awarding ceremony. The powerhouse China now has 1 gold and 1 silver. In the 2008 Beijing Olympics, China collected more gold medals than USA, Russia and Great Britain.
