The Nevada State Athletic Commission gave Floyd Mayweather Jr. a license to fight Miguel Cotto on May 5th.
The announcement made by Mayweather Jr. is a disappointment for those who are expecting to see the Pacquiao-Mayweather Jr fight on May 5. This time, the issue between the two why the fight didn't pursue is, how much will they take home after the fight. Manny already agreed to have a smaller purse but Floyd wanted to have all the pay per view share which Pacquiao refuses.
After his announcement he tweeted, FloydMayweather I'm fighting Miguel Cotto on May 5th because Miss Pac Man is ducking me.
Cotto defended his title last month against Antonio Margarito. It was a 10th round TKO.
Floyd challenge Cotto for the WBA Super Welterweight World title. It will be at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
